Them trailer previews Amazon’s new horror anthology series
Amazon Prime Video has released the full Them trailer for Little Marvin and Lena Waithe’s upcoming horror anthology limited series which will explore terror in America. The video introduces us to the Emory family as they move to a suburban neighborhood at Compton in hopes to starting a better life. However, they’ll soon find out that Palmer Drive isn’t what it seems when their white neighbors try every horrible thing they can to terrorize them out of the place they want to call home. The 10-episode limited series will be available for streaming on April 9. Check out the video in the player below!
The 1950s set first season centers on a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next-door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.
Them will be led by Deborah Ayorinde (Harriet), Ashley Thomas (The Night Of), Alison Pill (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Shahadi Wright Joseph (Us), Melody Hurd (Fatherhood), and Ryan Kwanten (True Blood).
Them is created and executive produced by Little Marvin along with executive producers Lena Waithe, Miri Yoon, and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, David Matthews, and Don Kurt. Them is a co-production from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios. The series, which made its World Premiere at last week’s South by Southwest Film Festival to strong reviews from critics, will make its debut on the streaming platform on April 9!
