Morgan Wallen Tops Artist 100 Chart For First Time Thanks to ‘Dangerous: The Double Album’

Morgan Wallen jumps from No. 6 to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Jan. 23) to become the top musical act in the U.S. for the first time, thanks to the record-setting start of his second studio album, Dangerous: The Double Album.

The set soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 265,000 equivalent album units earned, according to MRC Data, as it boasts the largest streaming week ever for a country album (240.2 million on-demand U.S. streams for its 30 songs). It also earns the third-biggest streaming week ever for a non-R&B/hip-hop album, after only Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next (307.1 million in its debut week) and Taylor Swift’s Folklore (289.9 million, also in its debut week).
